1. All students must carry their valid BC driver’s license during all in-car lessons an while sitting on drivers seat of the vehicle

2. Each in-car lesson is a minimum of 60 minutes

a. If the instructor is late, the lesson will commence at the time the student meets the instructor; the full lesson will be provided or the missing time will be added to a future lesson

b. If the student is late, the lesson will commence at the time the lesson was scheduled; no extra time will be added

3. The lesson fee is $55 per 60 minutes

4. All lessons, including packages are not transferable to any party and at any circumstances

5. The lesson fees must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the lesson

6. The student is expected to complete lessons within 12 months from the date of payment; no refund or lessons will be given for incomplete sessions after 12 months

7. If you wish to cancel a driving lesson, we require 12 hours notice otherwise a cancellation fee of $30 for a reschedule. No shows on scheduled lessons will be a forfit of the lesson. 

8. In order to comply with physical distancing requirements, and safety of everyone, only the student and instructor will be allowed in the vehicle.

9. Refund Policy: All lessons / packages purchased are final sale and non-transferable. 

10. Driving test results will vary with each student; the school cannot guarantee all students will pass their driving test and obtain their driver’s license

​COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES BY ICBC & WCB FOR BC DRIVING SCHOOLS

All Driving Instructors of Nguyen Driving School:

1. Must ensure that the following people are not allowed into a vehicle where a driving lesson is taking place:

Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19

People who are a close contact of a person who has tested positive for COVID-19

Anyone who has travelled out of the country within the last 14 days

Anyone otherwise under order from public health to self-isolate.

2. Must ensure that students are not having any flu-like symptoms at the time of lesson (must cancel the lesson otherwise).

3. At the start and end of the lesson, consider having any conversations with the student outside of the vehicle, where physical distancing can be more easily maintained.

4. Ask students to wash or sanitize their hands before entering the vehicle. Provide the student with hand sanitizer before they enter the vehicle.

5. Ensure that physical distancing is maintained wherever possible throughout the lesson, including any required pre-trip inspections or for demonstrations of pre-trip activities or tasks.

6. Open windows whenever possible to increase fresh air ventilation while parked and driving, and ensure that the fresh air intake is open so that the air in the car is not being recirculated.

7. Mask should be worn all time during the lesson because physical distancing cannot be maintained in driving school vehicles. Provide masks for learners who have not brought their own.

8. Ensure high-touch surfaces such as the steering wheel, seat belts, driving controls, gear lever, windows, keys, seats and door handles are cleaned and disinfected between lessons.

9. Ensure adequate supplies are provided in the vehicle.

10. Provide a means of disposal within the vehicle for cleaning supplies, wipes, and used masks.
